Vision:
Our vision is to eliminate the recidivism statistic in the nation for women coming out of prison through an effective reentry program. To later implement an alternative to Incarceration Program (ATIs) to reduce overcrowding in the prisons. Our vision is to take homeless women off the streets and provide an environment that fosters their safety and assimilation back into society.

Providing HOPE for these women will in turn help them to:

  • Appreciate life and what it has to offer.
  • Help to embed family values and self-worthiness.
  • Build self-esteem and a positive outlook on life.
  • Contribute to the finding of their spiritual awareness.
  • Help the women to find the courage to live in society and play by its rules.

Mission:
The Arc of Hope Women’s Center’s is a non-profit organization who's mission is:

To renovate a facility to house homeless women and women coming out of prison and  provide them with the tools needed to live a productive life in society.

Prepare the women with the knowledge and skills needed to survive.

Contribute to their spiritual, emotional, and mental awareness.

Provide a support system that will enable these women to feel confident with the opportunity to a long-term stay (up to 24 months) if they qualify for the program, which includes behavioral health and drug abuse counseling, education (illiteracy and computer training), and childcare.

Provide an environment in which they can rekindle the bond between themselves and their families.

Design a program to instill structure and good habits in their lives, to benefit these women as they re-enter the work force and society.

Help these women leave the program with a job, appropriate housing and an established support system.

Also, provide jobs in the community of the women's center.
